Share the requested department or consultation, date range and language. Ask which details the institution needs and when a proposed time becomes confirmed. Keep travel plans flexible until those requirements are clear.
If you have already booked
- Confirm the full institution and exact campus or clinic.
- Check date, arrival time, department and booking reference where provided.
- Ask whether registration, payment or document checks must happen before the consultation.
- Request the address in Chinese and the contact channel for changes.
- If asking for an interpreter, share the confirmed location and support window.
A booking is separate from a care plan
A consultation slot does not establish that a test or procedure will happen that day. The institution and clinician must confirm any preparation, consent, clinical assessment and further scheduling.
When plans change
Ask the institution about its rescheduling process and notify any interpreter, transport or accommodation provider separately. Discuss the coordination scope and any change-related charges rather than assuming one cancellation covers every service.
