Before choosing an appointment
Ask the provider what the package includes, which clinical consultation is available and whether any items require separate booking. The clinician determines what is medically appropriate; a larger list of tests is not itself a recommendation.
Receive preparation from the provider
Confirm how to receive and understand instructions about attendance, food or drink, medication questions and documents. Ask the care team about any unclear instruction; do not rely on a generic travel checklist as medical preparation.
Organize the day and the documents
- Original identity document required by the institution.
- Appointment location and registration time.
- Relevant earlier reports requested by the provider, shared through an agreed channel.
- Questions for the clinician and the interpretation scope if arranged.
Separate the checkup from the report timeline
An initial visit may fit around 1-2 days, while some reports or consultations may follow later. Ask when each report is expected, in which language, whether it can be accessed remotely and who provides the clinical explanation.
